Service Request Policy

Domestic Service

This service is for those individulas that need maid service, are willing to provide all benefits required by law. However, do not have the time to search for the right canidate.

1.Pay the full fee amount before your maid search. Once done:

2. Provide in writing realistic characteristics of the maid you are looking for along with a realistic job description of her duties. With this information we will begin to search our database and find the perfect fit.

3. Entitled to two interviews with our employees in our office.

  • Each interview will have a minimum of 2 and a maximum 4 employees.
  • In the extreme case that after two interviews you have not selected a maid, we at Merry Maids will return 50% of your deposit.

If you decide to forgo the interview, pay the full fee amount before we begin your maid search.

  • Provide in writing realistic characteristics of the maid you are looking for along with a realistic job description of her duties. With this information we will begin to search our database and find the perfect fit.
  • Once we have coordinated with the employee regarding, salary, days off, vacation, ect..We will send the maid to start work.

NOTICE: If there is any change to the characteristics and/or job description during an interview and/or after we have already sent you a maid, we reserve the right to not refund any monies.

NOTICE: All warranties or non warranties are applied to the two options.

Commercial Service

This service is exclusive to individuals or companies that require professional cleaning services

There is a 24 hour minimum and you need to request the service 72 hours in advance.

NOTICE: Merry Maids charges a minimum of three days work (24 hours) on the first service contract, regardless if the job takes this long daily. If the contract requires additional days it is the clients responsibility to determine how long the job will take per day allowing for Merry Maids to make the proper adjustments, on the contrary Merry Maids will assume 8 hours per day.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

  • Any cancellation of our commercial service must be done 48 hours prior to start of work in order to receive a full refund.
  • Any cancellation of our commercial service after 48 and before 24 hours will receive a 50% refund.
  • Any cancellation of our commercial service after 24 hours, we reserve the right not to refund any monies.

Emergency Service

This service is designed for individials who require a maid or nanny on short notice.

  • Requires a minimum of 12 hour notice in order to fill request.
  • Service request has a minimum of 5 hours.
  • Payment is required immediately upon request.
  • Any cancellation made on or before 6 hours before start of work will result in a 50% refund, thereafter Merry Maids reserves the right to not refund any monies.

NOTICE: Emergency Service is ONLY available in the Central Valley areas.

All returns are made by bank wire. This deposit will be made on the last day of the month, NO exceptions.
