One Hour Rest Time
Domestic workers (Maids) are entitled to a one hour daily lunch break.
Article 105, paragraph b, of the Labor Code establishes that a maids work day is eight hours or, alternatively, 48 per week, and are entitled to at least one hour a day of rest and one day off.
The break is usually used for lunch. Previously the law allowed only 30 minutes for that purpose.
